Greenwoods Eldercare Society Programs

The Lady Minto Hospital Auxiliary volunteer coordinator for the Greenwoods Complex Care facility and the Braehaven Assisted Living facility and other auxiliary volunteers assist the Greenwoods activity coordinator in a number of ways:

• Help fund special functions for the residents such as Christmas parties and special meals;
• Assist with funding for special celebrations e.g. Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, Strawberry Tea, Fall Pumpkin Pie Day, etc.;

The auxiliary provides funding for a wide range of art, music and exercise therapy programs at both the Greenwoods and Braehaven facilities.  These programs are conducted by paid, qualified therapists.
