Lady Minto Hospital Auxiliary volunteers assist the hospital activity coordinator for the Complex Care Unit in a variety of ways in order to contribute to the comfort and welfare of the residents:

• Auxiliary volunteers provide a tea and coffee service twice daily Monday to Friday;
• The auxiliary volunteer co-ordinator purchases special treats throughout the year, birthday gifts and cards for residents, flowers for planting in the patio area, Christmas gifts for each resident, and ensures that there is always an abundant supply of cookies for the residents;
• The auxiliary volunteer coordinator and volunteers help support the annual sports day and host the Family Christmas Dinner.

The auxiliary provides funding for art and therapy programs conducted by paid, qualified therapists.
